Thanks for stopping by and taking time to read this – I’ll keep it as short as possible, cause I’d rather see you enjoy flying one of our tours instead of reading about it.
I’m Matt. I’ve been doing flight simming since the late 1980s, starting with F/A-18 Interceptor on Amiga and FS 4.0 (see below). After having flown for a handful of VAs in the past, e.g. GerAir (retired after 20 years of operation) and Alaska Adventures (still very much alive), I decided in 2024 that it was finally time to build and manage my own VA (which was called IceFireAir). Unfortunately I wasn’t very successful (and too impatient) in recruiting pilots for this VA – obviously the idea didn’t really appeal to anyone, and I get it: There are thousands of VAs out there which are already established and have way more members, routes and aircraft.
What has become a bit more successful though is making multiplayer safaris all around the world with bush aircraft, consisting of many smaller legs (1-3 hrs), where pilots fly in groups on Microsoft Flight Simulator. Anybody can join and leave these flights at any time, chat things up on Twitch or Discord and have a good time. All the legs are being streamed and the idea has gained a tiny bit of traction since I started the endeavor. This website also offers descriptions and downloads like flight plans as well as links to video playlists.
I’m also occasionally writing and recording reviews about addons or flight sim related software, trying to help people make informed decisions about downloading or buying stuff.
