What is all this?

Basically, FlightSimSafaris is the effort to build a little community around flight tours all over the world to enjoy the virtual representation of our planet. We do low and slow bush flying in small aircraft (nose- and tail draggers alike) with piston and turboprop engines, on Microsoft Flight Simulators 2020 and 2024.

We follow the trails of people who experienced great aviation adventures (e.g. “Flight Of Passage” or “Cannibal Queen”). And we create tours which include beautiful or interesting locations (e.g. Ring Road on Iceland or Lord Of The Rings movie scenery). See Events & Tours section.

What’s Hop-On Hop-Off?

Basically, all the tours we do can be joined and left at any time and any location. You can fly along with your own aircraft as long you like – just a small part of a leg or an entire tour.
Fortunately the MSFS multiplayer system even allows to spawn in mid-air to join people who have been added to the friends list. So it doesn’t matter if you’re not there for the initial take-off on a leg, you can join later on. It even works for people who play using an XBOX.
